Hey there you creepy bastards! Let’s talk about the stuff that keeps you awake at night (no not cocaine) we’re talking horror movies, baby! Now, you might think it’s all about the creepy settings and spooky music, but it’s the characters that really get under your skin. So, here’s a list of some of the creepiest, wildest, and downright disgusting horror movie characters of all time.

Count Dracula (Bela Lugosi)

Alright, we’ve got to start with the OG vampire, Count Dracula. Bela Lugosi rocked that cape in “Dracula” back in 1931. The guy set the vampire standard. He was suave, seductive, and just the right amount of sinister. You can’t think about vampires without thinking about this guy.

Norman Bates (Anthony Perkins)

The most iconic movie characters of all time wouldn’t be complete without good old Norman Bates from Hitchcock’s “Psycho”? This prick was the OG incel. Anthony Perkins played him like a true fucking creep. That chilling transformation keeps you guessing what’s gonna happen next.

Freddy Krueger (Robert Englund)

How about Freddy Krueger…BITCH!? Wes Craven’s “A Nightmare on Elm Street” brought us this burned-up nightmare. He’s got the razor, a dirty mouth and the face of a scrotum. Robert Englund absolutely fucking nailed this role.

Michael Myers (Nick Castle)

Michael Myers, the dude behind the mask in “Halloween” (1978). This guy is a relentless meathead. He keeps coming, saying fuck-all in the process. Absolutely chilling. That ugly mug is etched into the horror Hall of Fame.

Regan MacNeil (Linda Blair)

Now, “The Exorcist” gave us Regan MacNeil, a sweet girl turned foul-mouthed demon. Linda Blair’s performance brings a new definition the phrase crazy chicks. Whether she’s barfing green shit or spewing filth to the priest, this character keeps you creeped the fuck out.

Hannibal Lecter (Anthony Hopkins)

This sketchy bastard is definitely up there when it comes to horror creeps (along with his buddy Buffalo Bill) Hannibal Lecter from “The Silence of the Lambs” scene-stealing star. This guy’s a cannibal psychiatrist with a genius-level IQ. Anthony Hopkins made him pure evil with a dash of intellect.

Jason Voorhees (Kane Hodder)

Jason Voorhees from the “Friday the 13th” series. Hockey mask, machete, and a supernatural comeback – Kane Hodder gave us a physical, menacing portrayal. Teenagers were unable to fondle each other in peace with this mother fucker prowling around.

Samara Morgan (Daveigh Chase)

“The Ring” introduced us to Samara Morgan, a vengeful spirit trapped in a cursed videotape. Daveigh Chase played the part, and her crawling out of the TV will forever remind us of the crackhead behind 7-11 approaching you for a cigarette.

Pennywise the Dancing Clown (Bill Skarsgård)

Alright, let’s not forget the most recent creepy clown, Pennywise from “It” (2017). Bill Skarsgård’s Pennywise is a perfect blend of childlike glee and pure terror. Laughing like a creep show that just ingested 7 grams of magic mushrooms, this performance is one for the books, definitely making him one of the most iconic movie characters of all time.

So there you have it, the horror movie characters that make you jump, scream, and check under your bed at night. They’ve left an indelible mark on the genre, and they’ll keep haunting your screens for years to come. Whether they’re lurking in the shadows, hiding in your dreams, or crawling out of your TV, they’ve earned their spots in the pantheon of horror movie legends.

Who's your favorite horror movie character?
